About

The 180º journey of a 30-something Graphic Designer to Physician Assistant in New York City. Join me as I laugh, cry, kick, scream, jump up and down, worry, and go bonkers through the obstacle course in front of me.

I am currently in the process of taking pre-requisite classes (one at a time) to apply to a PA Masters (or BA) Program. At the same time, I am putting in about 12 hrs/week volunteer work at a hospital and through New York Cares, and working full time.

I have a slightly different slant of the PA application process since I'm an older student, changing careers, and my introductory science classes were done during my freshman year of college. Suffice it to say, the classes were long ago. I am somewhat limited to schools that are flexible to my older classes, but now I'm playing catch up by taking advanced science courses and some 101 classes I never had.

PS: The paper-cut portrait was created by the amazing street artist, Ming. It doesn't really look like me, (I think I look younger than this!), but I thought it was pretty cool.
